Annual Report for 2006/2007
With the help of the recently established membership committee, (Jeffrey Bowen, chair), a membership volunteer survey was undertaken during February 2007. The response rate to the survey was an astounding 33% of the membership. Data from the survey has been distributed to the various standing and administrative Committee chairs for their use in identifying potential members to serve.
In April 2007, the Education Committee planning for the 2008 annual meeting in Portland, Oregon, had its first meeting and began planning workshops and programs in earnest. The theme for the meeting is Energize, Explore, Evolve.
In consultation with the TS-SIS Executive Board, new representatives from the TS-SIS membership were appointed to the Joint OBS/TS Research Grant Committee and to the TSLL Board.
