I am inviting you to attend the Heads of Technical Services Roundtable which will be held Sunday, July 15, 2007 at the Hilton Riverside, Melrose Room from 12:00 PM -1:15 PM. Feel free to bring your lunch. Everyone is welcome, whether you're a Head of Tech Services, or want to be one.
Our discussion will cover topics shamelessly "borrowed" from the ALA ALCTS Creative Ideas in Technical Services Discussion Group, or any other burning issues you might want to discuss.
The ALCTS topics are:
Best practices for incorporating special projects into the regular workflow
Management/employee supervision and motivation issues in technical services
Collection Development and technical services: how are they/can they/ should they be coordinated?
Staffing workflow changes as a result of the move from print to e-journals
