Anticipating Preservation Work in San Antonio

The AALL Annual Meeting is almost here and the Preservation Committee under Pat Turpening's leadership has been active all year. Seven librarians have worked on a survey developed by the Northeast Document Conservation Center. These librarians work in Virginia, California, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Utah, to show how the project spans the country. One librarian was given a grant to work on the survey. All librarians had challenges to overcome in order to fill out this thorough survey. They will present their findings in Program B3 on Sunday afternoon, July 17, 2005. All AALL members are invited.
