The following is being posted on behalf of Michael Widener (Chair, LHRB-SIS) and Susan Karpuk (Yale Law Library). The roundtable meets Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in WSCC-Room 303.

Hello Rare Book Cataloging Roundtable,
Please join us again this year. We will do our usual round robin, in which we usually share any rare books news at our respective libraries and bring up various topics for discussion, e.g., marking, shelving, cataloging, and anything else.
I have recently been including "fingerprints" on some of our rare books records and will talk briefly about our practice at Yale Law Library.
Below are links to the documentation I use.
1. Bodley Library summary http://users.ox.ac.uk/~bodl0842/fingerprints/ 4 pages
2. OCLC 026 field https://www.oclc.org/bibformats/en/0xx/026.html 2 pages
3. Fingerprints Manual http://edit16.iccu.sbn.it/web_iccu/info/en/Impronta_Normativa.htm ca. 40 pages including examples. The link to the manual appears in the Bodley page above.
Look forward to seeing everyone,
Susan Karpuk
