2014-2015 OBS-SIS Education Committee seeks volunteers

Hi OBS Colleagues!

As the Incoming Chair of OBS & the Chair of the 2014-2015 OBS Education Committee, I'm already starting to think ahead to OBS programming for the 2015 AALL Annual Meeting in Philadelphia. While I already have some veterans returning to the committee and some new faces committed to helping, there is always room for more people to join us and help create useful and valuable programming. For those of you new to AALL or OBS, this is a GREAT way to network and meet other fun and knowledgeable law librarians.

We do most of our work via e-mail in August & September, so members don't have to attend the "live" meeting during the 2014 AALL Annual Meeting this summer in San Antonio. Historically, this committee works together to create and review/proof read all of the proposals, so all committee members have a lot of support. And you don't have to be a program presenter, coordinator, or moderator unless you want to be.

The committee already has several program ideas in process, but we always welcome more ideas, so even if you don't want to join the committee, please pass possible program topics on to me.

Please let me know by May 31 if you are interested in joining this fun and important committee.
Thanks for considering serving OBS!

Karen
